Information You Provide
Ham Radio Contact Mapper: When you use the Contact Mapper tool, you upload an ADIF log file and enter your callsign and grid square. This data is processed on our server to generate your map and is not stored after your session ends. No account is required.
Notify Me Signup: If you sign up to be notified about future product releases, we collect your email address. This information is stored by our email service provider, MailerLite, and is used solely to send you product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Contact Form: If you contact us through our website, we receive the information you provide in your message (such as your name and email address). We use this only to respond to your inquiry.
CalcLedger (iOS and macOS App)
CalcLedger does not collect, transmit, or store personal information. All calculations and tape data are stored locally on your device and, if you choose to enable iCloud sync, in your personal iCloud account. Blue Heron Data does not have access to your iCloud data.
Location: CalcLedger requests access to your device location only when you tap “Get My Location” in the Grid Square and Location calculator. Your location is used solely to calculate your Maidenhead grid square and is never stored, transmitted, or shared.
No analytics, no advertising, no tracking: CalcLedger contains no third-party SDKs, no analytics frameworks, no advertising networks, and no tracking of any kind.
Information Collected Automatically
Cookies: Our website uses cookies to ensure basic site functionality and to remember your cookie consent preferences. See the “Cookies” section below for details.
Server Logs: Our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically collects standard server log data when you visit our site. This may include your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. This data is used for security monitoring and site performance purposes.
Third-Party Services
QRZ.com and HamQTH.com: When you upload an ADIF file to the Contact Mapper, callsigns from your log are sent to QRZ.com and HamQTH.com to look up location information. These lookups are performed server-to-server and are subject to the privacy policies of QRZ.com and HamQTH.com respectively. No personal information about you (the uploader) is shared with these services.
Map Tile Providers: The interactive map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap, CartoDB, and OpenTopoMap. Your browser connects directly to these services when viewing the map. These providers may collect standard web request data (such as IP address). Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details.
